Job summary

Chrysalis seeks an experienced supervisor to oversee daily operations of residential programs for adults/juveniles with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Utah. You will supervise Direct Care Professionals, ensure health and safety, and implement person-centered care plans, while maintaining compliance with policies and dietary, financial, and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or 21 depending on location
• Pass criminal background and LEIE check annually
• Ability to speak, read and write effectively in English
• Valid driver’s license if driving is required
• Must meet Chrysalis driving policy requirements if driving

Responsibilities

• Maintain Individuals’ Health
• Develop, implement and report on Person Centered Plans
• Oversee Behavior Plans and supervision guidelines
• Be on time with regular attendance and adhere to schedule
• Stay awake, responsive and communicate effectively with individuals
• Plan weekly menus for proper nutrition
• Protect and maintain individuals’ finances and finance folders
• Assist individuals in making purchases and teach basic financial skills
• Supervise and manage staff
• Ensure new employees attend New Employee Orientation
• Maintain appropriate staff numbers and hours
• Provide training for staff on first shift and ongoing timelines
• Conduct employee evaluations
• Follow safety, anti-harassment, ADA and FMLA procedures
• Create an environment to retain employees
• Prepare monthly staff schedules
• Manage staff issues and overtime compliance
• Be on call 24/7
• Ensure house books and timesheets are completed accurately
• Audit timesheets by due date including required signoffs
