Job summary

Capital District Psychiatric Center is seeking a Residential Program Manager 3 to oversee and manage residential program operations for community residences. You will supervise direct care staff and coordinate admissions, discharges, and care planning.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and several years of supervisory experience in a residential mental health setting, with duties including responding to emergencies and ensuring resident needs are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 3 years of experience with individuals diagnosed with mental illness, including 1 year in a supervisory/administrative role and 1 year in a residential setting.
• Alternatively eligible via NY HELPS or competitive class appointment with required service history.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident admission and discharge planning.
• Supervise clinical and direct care staff and assign duties.
• Assess programs and adjust to meet resident needs.
• Respond to emergencies during regular and non-work hours.
