Job summary

Nexus Family Healing is hiring a Mental Health Therapist in a full-time onsite role at our youth crisis and stabilization center in Minneapolis. The Residential Program Director position oversees operations, staff development, risk management, and trauma-informed care for youth and teens, ensuring safety and high-quality services.

The role emphasizes leadership, program evaluation, and collaborations with clinical and support teams to drive positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years of relevant youth residential program experience.
• Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training completed (or ability to complete).
• Must be 21+ years old and able to meet driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day residential program operations and supervision of Supervisors and direct care staff.
• Develop and enhance programming to improve safety, quality and treatment outcomes.
• Oversee admissions, client schedules, crisis intervention, and incident response.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and organizational standards, risk management and quality improvement.
• Review program documentation and ensure records are accurate and timely.
