The Program Director's caseload will involve programs located in the Chippewa Falls & Eau Claire area.
As a Program Director at Dungarvin, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the operations of the assigned residential programs, supervising traditional DD/IDD programs as well as behavioral programs in certified Adult Family Homes (AFH). The ideal candidate will have previous experience supervising staff and working with adults with disabilities and challenging behaviors, as well as with those requiring crisis management and behavioral interventions.
The Program Director will have an assigned caseload of either traditional or behavioral programs and will be equipped to support both types of settings for on-call purposes. In traditional settings, the Program Director is typically responsible for a caseload of approximately 2-4 adult residential program sites, with a larger number of and a smaller number of direct reports per program. In behavioral settings, the Program Director is typically responsible for overseeing 1-2 residential program sites, usually with 1-2 per home, and will supervise a staff of approximately 10-12 Direct Support Professionals per program.
This position is in-office, providing site supervision for direct care staff. This role involves typical office hours, Monday through Friday, full-time. Additionally, the Program Director must have a flexible schedule with the ability to be on-call during the on-call rotation (including weekends and odd hours).
