Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health's New Haven in Spanish Fork, Utah is seeking a on-site Cook to prepare nutritious meals for youth in residential care. Practical candidates have restaurant, cafeteria, or institutional kitchen experience, a Utah Food Handler Permit, CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Professional kitchen, cafeteria, or institutional kitchen experience preferred.
• Utah Food Handler Permit, CPR/First Aid certification, and background, drug, driving, and TB screenings; valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain Crisis Intervention Training Certification.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly menus and manage inventory.
• Order supplies and help maintain food costs within budget.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Work with treatment staff and dietitians to support residents' nutritional needs.

JoinNew Haven, a residential mental health treatment center in Spanish Fork, Utah, as a Cook preparing nutritious meals and snacks for youth receiving behavioral health care. In this onsite role, you'll plan menus, accommodate dietary needs, maintain food safety standards, and help create a positive dining experience for residents. We're looking for someone with professional kitchen, cafeteria, or restaurant experience who enjoys meaningful work in a residential treatment setting.
