Job summary

J. Blanton Plumbing in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Plumber to efficiently undertake various plumbing tasks, from fixing leakages to installing pipes. A successful plumber should know service plumbing, diagnostics, and customer service, and be patient with a practical mindset.

You will repair, install, and maintain systems transporting water, waste, gases, or hot liquids, and contribute to growing a forward-thinking company in home services with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Residential Plumbing.
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential.
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly with a great deal of patience.
• Good physical condition and strength for work in awkward spaces.

Responsibilities

• Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes in existing infrastructure.
• Install and maintain water supply systems.
• Locate and repair leaks in water supply lines.
• Repair or replace drainage lines, faucets, and fixtures.
• Install and maintain water heaters, sump pumps, back-up systems.
• Install waste disposal and sanitary DWV systems.

We are looking for an experienced Plumber to efficiently undertake various plumbing tasks, from fixing leakages to installing pipes. A successful plumber must have thorough knowledge of service plumbing, diagnostics, and customer service. They are patient individuals with a practical mind and manual dexterity, able to work efficiently with great attention to detail. The goal is to repair, install, and maintain well-functioning systems that transport water, waste, gases, or hot liquids.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure
• Install and maintain water supply systems
• Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g., leaks)
• Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets, etc
• Install and maintain water heaters, sump and ejector pumps, back-up systems, hose bibbs, etc
• Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Residential Plumbing
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly with a great deal of patience
