Job summary

Magnolia Plumbing, LLC, a Washington, DC area plumbing and HVAC service provider, is seeking a Residential Plumbing Service Apprentice to join our growing team. This entry-level role offers hands-on training alongside experienced plumbers on residential service calls across the DC metro area.

You will learn diagnosing, installing, repairing, and maintaining residential plumbing systems, with a clear path to advancement into a Junior Service Technician role.

Qualifications

• Previous plumbing, construction, mechanical, or trade experience preferred but not required.
• Strong desire to learn the residential plumbing trade and develop technical skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and career development opportunities.
• Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced plumbers with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential plumbing systems.
• Support service calls involving leaks, clogged drains, low water pressure, and other common plumbing issues.
• Assist with installing, repairing, and replacing faucets, toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, garbage disposals, and other plumbing fixtures.
• Learn to service and maintain residential water heaters, including tank and tankless systems.
• Assist with repairing and replacing pipes, valves, fittings, drains, and water supply lines.
• Support plumbing system inspections, preventative maintenance, and general service work.
