Great Dane Heating & Air Conditioning in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a Residential Plumbing Service Technician to repair and maintain home plumbing systems, ensuring reliable operation and minimizing disruption for homeowners. You will diagnose leaks, clogs, fixtures, water heaters; perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and advise homeowners on upgrades and water-saving options.

Valid Journeyman license or ability to obtain within months is required; 3+ years’ experience

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Plumber license, or the ability to obtain one within 3-6 months
• 3+ years of progressive plumbing experience
• Knowledge and use of hand tools for plumbing projects
• Knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Possess strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude to diagnose and repair plumbing issues effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and educating customers on all options
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid Driver's License required
• Clear background check, MVR, and drug screen
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Responsabilités

• Repairs: diagnose and fix plumbing issues in homes, replace damaged pipes, faucets, toilets, water heaters, or other components
• Maintenance: inspect pipes for leaks, check water pressure, clean drains, flush water heaters to remove sediment buildup
• Emergency Services: respond to plumbing emergencies and provide prompt repairs
• Consultation and Advice: advise homeowners on plumbing system upgrades, energy-efficient fixtures, water conservation measures, and other improvements
