Job summary

The Seminole Tribe of Florida housing department seeks a skilled plumber to install, maintain and repair plumbing fixtures and irrigation systems for housing facilities on the Brighton Reservation and surrounding STOF sites.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED, a Florida driver’s license, and at least two years of plumbing experience. A licensed plumber is preferred, and travel to STOF reservations is necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience as a skilled plumber or equivalent.
• Licensed Plumber preferred.
• Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License and be able to travel to STOF Reservations and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, water circulation, irrigation systems and accessories for STOF Housing facilities.
• Apply standard trade practices and select materials and methods.
• Ensure workmanship, comply with instructions and specifications, and adhere to regulatory codes.
• Take assignments in oral and written form from a supervisor and perform work accordingly.
