Job Summary
Under the direction of the Plumber / Irrigation Mechanic, the incumbent adjusts repairs, troubleshoots and maintains all facilities plumbing system and applications. Must have knowledge of local plumbing codes.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
- Performs all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books.
- Conducts walk–through inspections, of domestic water systems to include water booster pumps, gauges and boiler temperature readings.
- Repairs showers, sinks, toilets, water booster pumps and on and off-site facilities.
- Records gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
- Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate.
- Knowledge of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s policies, procedures and schedules to insure minimal interruption to business operations and to prioritize projects appropriately.
- Maintains tools, equipment and supplies in good, clean, operating order.
- Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
- Performs all duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma, trade school certificate preferred as well as minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience with commercial / industrial plumbing or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

- The Casino environment is hectic, fast‑paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
