Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, inspect properties for infestations, apply treatments, and provide preventative advice to customers.

The role involves driving a company vehicle, following safety protocols, and communicating effectively with clients. A valid driver’s license and willingness to work a flexible schedule are required; benefits begin on day 1 and include health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training optional.
• Valid driver{e9}s license required.
• Licenses/certificates as required by local regulations (provided by us)
• Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations and entry points
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, while following safety standards
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and expand products to new customers
• Ensure pest control equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols
• Operate a company-provided service vehicle as needed
