Job summary

Rentokil is seeking Pest Control Technicians to perform residential pest management services, including inspections, identification of infestations, and applying treatments. You will educate clients on prevention and safe practices while maintaining equipment and ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities include scheduling with customers, assisting with sales to current customers, and adhering to regulatory requirements. A valid driver’s license is required and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence (company vehicle provided).
• Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills — follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pest management services for residential customers, including inspections and treatments.
• Identify pest infestations and determine appropriate products and methods.
• Educate customers on prevention and safe practices.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and assist with sales.
• Maintain pest control equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations and safety protocols.
• Operate a company-provided service vehicle.
