Job summary

Terminix is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management. You will conduct thorough inspections, identify pests, determine infestation types, apply treatments, and provide preventative advice to protect homes.

Responsibilities include inspections, safe application of products, educating customers, building relationships, scheduling and assisting sales, maintaining equipment, and complying with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience helpful.
• Valid driver's license in state of residence.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations.
• Able to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to learn all areas of pest control.
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections to identify signs of infestations.
• Apply pest control products safely and effectively.
• Educate customers on prevention and future risk reduction.
• Build relationships, schedule appointments, and assist sales.
• Maintain pest control equipment and ensure it is in good condition.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Drive and operate a company vehicle (maintenance provided).
