Frey Consulting Group in Overland Park, KS seeks a Pest Control Specialist to deliver residential insect, rodent, flea, tick, and mosquito control on a route-based basis, with a pathway to grow into termite and rodent exclusion as the division expands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in confined spaces such as attics, crawlspaces, and vents.
• Maintain a professional, clean-cut appearance.
• Strong customer service and clear communication; self-directed, team player.
• Hold a current Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• Pass pre-employment DOT physical, criminal background check, MVR check, and drug screening (including marijuana).

Responsibilities

• Manage an established residential pest control route with maximum efficiency and professionalism.
• Execute comprehensive home insect protection, targeting common pests alongside flea, tick, and mosquito treatments.
• Deliver effective rodent management services, including baiting, trapping, and monitoring programs.
• Diagnose pest pressures within and around homes, selecting appropriate treatments and products.
• Educate homeowners on pest prevention strategies and treatment expectations.
• Maintain detailed service records, treatment logs, and follow-up documentation for all client visits.
