Job summary

Rentokil is seeking Pest Control Technicians to perform residential pest management, including inspections and treatments, while educating customers on prevention and future risk reduction. Positions involve travel to properties, adherence to safety regulations, and customer-facing communication.

Training is provided, and benefits start on day one. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work varying schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence; licenses/certificates as required by regulations.
• Able to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed; strong reading, writing, and verbal communication.
• Solid math skills and ability to follow product label instructions; customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, safely and effectively.
• Educate customers on prevention methods and future risk reduction for pest control.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule/confirm appointments, and assist in sales to current and new customers.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and drive a company-provided service vehicle.
