Job summary

Western Exterminator Company is seeking a Pest Control Technician to deliver residential pest management services. You will inspect properties, identify infestations, apply treatments, and advise customers on prevention while following safety standards.

This full-time role offers day-one benefits, a $1,500 sign-on bonus, and growth opportunities within the Rentokil family. You’ll work locally, drive a company vehicle, and join a team focused on safety, quality service, and customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Clean shaven face for safety (rebreathers seal)
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations
• Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
• Open to learning across pest control areas
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills; follow product label instructions
• Customer-facing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points
• Apply approved pest control products (chemicals, baits, traps) safely
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods
• Build relationships with customers and schedule/confirm appointments
• Maintain and stock pest control equipment
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
• Operate company-provided service vehicle as needed
