Job summary

Comanche Nation Prevention & Recovery in Lawton, OK is seeking a part-time Peer Recovery Support Specialist to supervise and support residential clients with SUD and co-occurring disorders. The role requires CPR/First Aid training and PRSS certification in time. Up to 29 hours per week, with evening/weekend shifts and up to 25% travel.

Must have HS diploma or GED and valid Oklahoma driver’s license. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and OPUS is expected; confidentiality and professionalism are

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience or knowledge of recovery programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, support, guidance and assistance to residential clients.
• Transport clients as needed and maintain safe driving practices.
• Facilitate related curriculum on addiction, relapse prevention.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor at all times.
• Meet funding requirements of various agencies.
