Job summary

Comanche Nation Prevention & Recovery in Lawton, OK seeks a Part-Time Peer Recovery Support role to supervise and assist residential clients with AOD and co-occurring disorders. Shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays, up to 29 hours weekly; the position requires High School Diploma and willingness to obtain PRSS and CPR/First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, coordinating with staff, transporting clients, delivering relapse-prevention curricula,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass background checks.
• Demonstrates accountability, adaptability and integrity in a confidential setting.
• Experience with 12-step or similar recovery programming preferred.
• Comfortable working with Federally Recognized Tribes and tribal community members.
• Willing to obtain PRSS and First Aid/CPR training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Provide supervision, support, guidance and assistance to residential clients.
• Transport clients to scheduled meetings and activities with safe driving practices.
• Facilitate curriculum related to addiction and relapse prevention.
• Report issues to management and document using OPUS.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Adhere to funding requirements and agency policies.
