Job summary

InReach NC in Charlotte, NC, is seeking friendly and caring individuals for a Part-Time IDD Care position. You will work with adults living in a residential home setting, focusing on their unique needs. Responsibilities include meal planning assistance, hygiene support, activity documentation, and medication monitoring.

A High School diploma and a valid driver's license are required. The work schedule runs Monday thru Thursday from 3 PM to 8 PM, offering a pay rate of $15.00 per hour and various

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of previous experience (paid or volunteer) working with the I/DD population or experience relevant to the role; must be verifiable.
• A valid Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Teach and assist with meal planning and cooking.
• Instruct and assist with household cleaning, personal care & hygiene.
• Provide community recreational activities when available.
• Document activities.
• Help residents develop healthy social habits.
• Dispense medication and monitor dosages.
• Drive a full-size passenger van.

What We Need

Friendly and caring individuals who work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) living in a residential home setting in Charlotte, NC. Will be working a Part-Time schedule with approx 20 hours per week.

What You'll Do

• Teach and assist with meal planning and cooking.
• Instruct and assist with household cleaning, personal care & hygiene.
• Provide community recreational activities when available.
• Provide and participate in in-home leisure activities.
• Documentation of activities.
• Help residents develop healthy social habits.
• Dispense medication and monitor dosages.
• Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van.
