Job summary

Tara Meadows and Thomas Apartments are seeking a skilled in-house painter to maintain the quality of our units. You will paint apartments during turnover and in common areas, ensuring clean lines and durable finishes.

Responsibilities include wall preparation, estimating materials, applying paint, tool maintenance, and adherence to safety rules. The role may involve coordinating with the maintenance team and outside vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience painting residential or commercial buildings.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Attention to detail and time management; able to work alone or with a team.
• Experience with power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare walls and surfaces by sanding, taping outlets, repairing cracks, etc.
• Estimate time and materials needed for projects.
• Mix and apply paint, varnishes, and solvents as required.
• Use a variety of tools to achieve the desired finish on painted surfaces.
• Set up and take down equipment as needed and maintain tools.
• Perform final inspection to ensure quality and accuracy, and adhere to safety rules.
