Freedom Plaza, a premier retirement community in Sun City Center, is seeking a Painter / Maintenance Tech to handle painting, drywall repair and wallcovering in residential units and common areas. The role includes preparing apartments for new residents and maintaining safety standards in a welcoming environment.

The position starts at $22 per hour and requires 3–5 years of relevant residential experience, with a focus on quality finishes and customer-friendly service.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of painting/wallcovering experience in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned painting/wallcovering as directed.
• Maintain the esthetics of high traffic common areas (painting and wallcovering).
• Restore painted areas in vacated units to like-new conditions.
• Perform drywall repairs as needed.
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
• Take all safety precautions concerning residents, staff and visitors.
