Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Painter to maintain interior and exterior surfaces of buildings and units, preparing surfaces, and applying paint across common areas. The role may require indoor or outdoor work and adherence to safety protocols.

The position requires 2–3 years of painting experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong customer service and communication skills. Pay ranges from $21 to $22 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• 2–3 years of paint application experience.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting.
• Match colors and mix paints.
• Paint all common areas and touch-ups as needed.
• Inspect areas needing paint and report to manager.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain positive relations with building staff.
• Complete daily work orders as scheduled.
• Use new equipment safely and properly.
