Wisconsin Management Company is seeking a Corporate Painter in Madison, WI, for full-time work in our Maintenance Department. The role focuses on interior and exterior painting for residential properties, including turnovers and common areas, with emphasis on safety and quality.

A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required, and the position offers competitive wages and benefits. The Painter will prepare surfaces, apply primers and paints, repair drywall, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

  • One year or more of painting experience or related area.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and current insurance.
  • LEAD CERTIFICATION is highly desirable.
  • Available for occasional night/weekend on-call duty with maintenance.
  • Good human relations skills and ability to work with others.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Physical ability to lift 80-100 lbs., stand extended periods, walk, talk and use both hands.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, prime, sand, seal, patch, and paint various materials.
  • Operate, clean, and maintain painting equipment.
  • Perform drywall repairs, texturing, and spraying.
  • May also perform general light manual labor.
  • Comply with OSHA regulations and health, safety and environment laws.
  • Maintain knowledge of painting concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Attend meetings, training sessions and seminars as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
