Job summary

CODA, Inc. is seeking a Residential Nurse Practitioner in Gresham, OR to deliver medical care for patients with substance use disorders.

The role involves evaluating patients, prescribing and managing medications, and ensuring ongoing monitoring in partnership with medical leadership. You will help develop and update medical protocols, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes while adhering to OTP policies and Oregon licensure

Qualifications

• Graduated from an NLNAC- or CCNE-accredited master's or doctoral nursing program.
• National certification in an NP specialty through OSBN-approved organizations.
• Oregon prescriptive authority requirements per Nurse Practice Act; active licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including history and physical examinations for all incoming patients.
• Prescribe and manage medications for substance use disorders, including methadone per OTP policies.
• Review relevant external medical records and labs to assess drug interactions and comorbidities.
• Coordinate with external providers to ensure safe prescribing of CODA medications.
• Develop referrals for additional or ongoing treatment services with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain timely, accurate medical records in compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in care coordination and treatment team meetings with Medical/Program Directors.
• Maintain licensure and participate in ongoing education to stay current in practice.
