Foothills Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator in Arizona to drive residential mortgage loans through referrals and direct outreach. You will pre-qualify borrowers, discuss loan options, and coordinate with real estate professionals to generate strong pipeline and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes meeting sales goals, compliance with mortgage regulations, and maintaining knowledge of multiple loan programs (FHA, VA, USDA, conventional).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three or more years of outside sales experience.
• Previous experience in residential and mortgage lending functions.
• Good knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional procedures.
• Proficiency in Ellie Mae Encompass Software and the ability to learn additional computer applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with loan customers.
• Analytical ability for residential real estate analysis and alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop qualified leads through referrals, canvassing and networking with real estate professionals.
• Meet sales volume and referral goals.
• Attend sales meetings in residential lending and the bank.
• Comply with all applicable laws and bank policies; coordinate with compliance teams.
• Oversee loan process and status with processors/ closers until underwriting and closing.
