Job summary

Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to solicit, develop and manage residential real estate loan relations. You will interview applicants, evaluate credit, and make loan decisions within guidelines while growing referrals and meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required or preferred.
• Two years of mortgage lending origination experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively call on prospective customers and referral contacts.
• Develop residential mortgage referrals by building relationships with realtors, builders and developers.
• Interview loan applicants to determine need, income and loan eligibility.
• Evaluate financials, collateral value, and terms; recommend loan conditions.
• Make loan decisions within lending limits and ensure profitability with acceptable risk.
• Participate in STEP program and related training to drive sales and referrals.
• Refer customers to other bank products and services as appropriate.
• Establish and pursue quarterly business development and referral goals.
