Job summary

KeyCorp is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer in Columbus, OH to assist clients with residential loan origination, provide expert advice on home lending options, and build a strong client network. The role emphasizes meeting sales goals while ensuring loan quality and high client satisfaction.

The MLO will develop referrals, work in a branch environment 4+ days/week, and stay informed on market trends and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience as a loan officer in 1st mortgage production (preferred).
• FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, ECOA, RESPA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect home lending business to build and develop new client loan originations.
• Originate and process a targeted number of family residential real estate mortgage transactions.
• Provide clients with detailed information about mortgage options, rates and terms.
• Gather documents and remain the primary contact during the loan process.
• Develop knowledge of KeyBank products and maintain efficient workflows.
