Job summary

Lightfully Behavioral Health, Inc. seeks a Mental Health Technician for its Adult Residential Program in Southern California. The role supports client safety, supervision, and medication oversight across assigned shifts.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, crisis assistance, meal support, and assisting with admissions and group activities. Requires high school diploma or GED, 21+ years old, and First Aid/clearances. Competitive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-4 years experience working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and complete First Aid Training, health screening, TB clearance, and Criminal Record Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supports clients’ physical and psychological safety.
• Monitors and oversees clients’ self-administration of medication.
• Completes accurate and timely documentation of observations during shifts and notifies clinical staff of noteworthy observations.
• Transports clients on outings, doctor’s appointments, etc.
• Provides one-on-one assistance to clients in crisis as directed by the clinical team.
• Assists with nutritional and dietary needs; may include meal and snack assembly.
• Assists in admission and discharge processes, orientation, belongings inventory, and facility tours.
• Leads or co-leads groups as licensure allows.
• Performs other duties assigned by supervisor, including light housekeeping and inventory prep.
• Maintains excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.
