Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services seeks a Support Specialist for Kairos House in Burlington County, NJ. The role delivers mental health services to adults in a respite setting, supervising residents and coordinating care with community resources.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, safe transport, and observing medication procedures. Shifts run weekdays from 1:00–9:00 PM or 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, with a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in mental health or health/human services or 1 year full-time experience with serious mental illness.
• AA/AS with 2 years' experience or high school diploma with 4 years' experience.
• Ability to collaborate with treatment team and community resources; strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health services to adults in a respite setting.
• Supervise residents and ensure safety and well-being.
• Perform crisis intervention as needed and coordinate with community providers.
• Transport residents in Agency vehicles and document care in EHR.
