Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services is hiring an Entry Level Crisis Response Specialist in Berlin, NJ. You will evaluate consumers, determine the need for further clinical services, and coordinate with an on-call Master’s Level Clinician for support. This is a full-time role with shifts across the 24/7 program.

Hourly pay ranges from $20.00 to $23.00, plus a $1.00 night shift differential. Benefits include PTO, health/dental/vision, 403(b) with match, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and a retention

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a mental health field from an accredited institution plus two years post Bachelor's professional experience.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in any field with three years’ post Bachelor’s professional experience in a mental health field.
• Your driver’s license must be in good standing with no recent suspensions or major violations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate consumers and decide if additional psychological, psychiatric, or clinical services are needed.
• Activate the on-call Master’s Level Clinician for additional support when required.
• Demonstrate competency in culturally appropriate care, trauma-informed care, de-escalation, suicide assessment, and safety planning before rendering services independently.
