Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking HVAC installers and installation technicians in Connecticut. You will perform equipment change-outs, new installations, ductwork fit-up, thermostat integration, and system start-up with careful commissioning and testing.

The role emphasizes compliance with codes and manufacturer specs, delivering tidy job sites and clear customer communication. Experience in residential settings is preferred, with opportunities to grow into lead or supervisory paths.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HVAC install or replacement experience with strong mechanical troubleshooting.
• Residential experience preferred; related HVAC backgrounds considered.
• HVAC installers and service techs with install experience welcomed.
• Sheet-metal mechanics with HVAC exposure are also suitable.

The mission

Deliver residential installations that perform reliably—furnaces, central air systems, heat pumps, and air handlers—while keeping job sites tidy and customers fully informed.

What you’ll handle

• Equipment change-outs and new installations for heating and cooling
• Ductwork fit-up, thermostat and control integration
• System startup, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting
• Compliance with code, manufacturer specs, and company standards

Bring your background

• Hands-on HVAC install or replacement experience with strong mechanical troubleshooting
• Residential experience preferred; related HVAC backgrounds considered
• We welcome HVAC installers, installation technicians, service techs with install experience, and sheet-metal mechanics with HVAC exposure
• Light-commercial installation or service/install crossover also translates well
• No need for prior lead or management experience—opportunities to step up as we grow
