Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking a Residential Market Specialist in Charleston, SC to oversee field operations, inspections, and resident move-in readiness. The role focuses on quality, efficiency, and customer experience across market activities, coordinating part-time staff and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include inspections, maintenance tasks, move-in preparation, utility coordination, and compliance with fair housing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 2+ years in property management, maintenance, construction, or related field.
• Skills: organization, communication, multitasking, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of vacant homes to ensure properties are tour-ready and move-in ready.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks including replacing smoke detector batteries, light bulbs, air filters, and reprogramming garage remotes.
• Prepare homes for move-in by identifying and resolving outstanding issues, removing temporary signage, rekeying locks, and installing permanent lockboxes.
• Assist with utility inspections and ensure proper transfer or maintenance of services.
• Verify and address HOA, HUD, city, and municipal inspections or code violations.
• Schedule and oversee part-time team members to ensure productivity and efficient task completion.
