Responsibilities
- Supervise the provision of assistance to persons served to promote their physical, social, and psychological well-being, ensuring staff interactions promote the rights of persons served to achieve an enhanced quality of life.
- Develop and implement activity schedules for each person served; monitor and ensure staff follow procedures to promote optimal health care and behavior supports, including services outlined in the person’s service plan and staff training.
- Monitor and ensure staff complete all required documentation to ensure quality services.
- Oversee labor hours and ensure service sites operate within budgetary guidelines.
- Manage client funds, receipts, and proper documentation.
- Deploy staff appropriately, maintaining staffing ratios in compliance with regulatory and service plan requirements.
- Prepare and post schedules timely; utilize staff efficiently.
- Conduct performance reviews, staff counseling, and corrective actions, including work improvement plans and follow-up.
- Provide feedback and oversight on staff documentation, including progress notes, data sheets, and incident reports.
- Assist with reviewing and tracking incident and accident reports; participate in investigations involving persons served and employees as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards and conduct related training; document training and compliance per company and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Business, Health Care Administration, or Social Science degree, or High School diploma/GED with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum of one year supervisory experience.
- Experience providing services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or related disorders is preferred.
- Experience in managing systems, processes, and people.
- Must meet all agency requirements for pre-employment screening as per company and state regulations.
- Depending on location, certification as a Food Service Director may be required.

This position involves working with Host Home and/or Family Care Giver providers, supervising assistance to persons served to promote their well-being, and ensuring staff interactions uphold their rights to an enhanced quality of life.
Regular in-person visits and audits will be required to ensure service quality.
Salary Range
USD $56,485.00 / Year
