Job summary

j- is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of duties for residential units, including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance repairs, and grounds maintenance. You will inspect units, address repairs, and assist with make-ready procedures.

The technician will report to the Maintenance Supervisor, respond to work orders within 24 hours when possible, keep thorough records, and ensure safety standards are followed during all tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational certificate preferred.
• Valid driver9s license with clean driving record.
• Able to bend, lift, climb stairs and use hand tools.
• Able to read and follow work orders and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic repairs to appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, and/or circuits.
• Performs light plumbing tasks, such as unclogging and replacing fittings.
• Performs carpentry work such as doors, windows, shelves, and interior/exterior painting.
• Replaces damaged glass, tile, carpet, window screens, blinds, fixtures, and locks.
• Keeps detailed records for preventive maintenance, work orders, renovations, inventories and purchase orders.
• Responds to work orders and resident requests within 24 hours when possible.
• Reports maintenance and resident concerns to Maintenance Supervisor immediately.
