Job summary

RIM Recruitment Professionals is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician in Pittsburgh, PA. The role offers full-time, permanent employment with hourly pay of $21.00–$23.00 based on experience and a $2,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff.

You will perform general apartment and building maintenance, handle routine tasks, respond to requests, prepare units for new residents, and conduct inspections. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of maintenance experience, OR at least one year of related experience plus six months of training in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding/fabrication or carpentry.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and access to a registered and insured vehicle for travel between properties.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general apartment and building maintenance.
• Complete routine and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Respond to service requests and maintenance calls promptly.
• Prepare apartments for new residents, including move-ins and move-outs.
• Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Maintain clean, safe, and attractive common areas.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies when scheduled.
