Gates Hudson is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day physical maintenance of one of our residential communities. This role performs corrective and preventative maintenance to ensure a safe, functional living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential property management.
• Ability to perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on apartments, buildings, and common areas.
• Complete service requests promptly and efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and related systems.
• Perform unit turnovers and prepare apartments for new residents.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and update logs.
• Identify and address unsafe conditions throughout the property.
• Enter occupied apartments professionally and in accordance with policy.
• Track inventory and report shortages.
