MMS Group is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician for a 40-unit residential property in DeRidder, LA. The role involves maintaining and turning units, performing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, and handling after-hours emergencies. Qualifications

• Three+ years of residential multifamily property maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• HVAC and fire safety certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regular maintenance of residential apartment homes and common areas.
• Perform small appliance, plumbing, electrical repairs in units and other areas.
• Install tile and laminate flooring.
• Be on call in the evenings for after-hours emergencies per company policy.
• Manage turnover of empty apartment units including repairs such as sheetrock, painting, doors and fixtures.
• Perform other duties as needed per the job description.
