Job summary

Urban Land Interests in Madison, WI is seeking a Residential Utility Technician to support day-to-day light maintenance, groundskeeping, and cleaning across 11 buildings. The role offers extensive on-the-job training and a clear path to advancement into a Residential Maintenance Technician position.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize and stay on task with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and chemical safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the team and residents.
• Full-time work experience in similar field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete turnover checklists for vacant turnovers and ensure vendors meet company standards.
• Perform plumbing repairs such as clearing stoppages and replacing filters.
• Replace/repair broken screens, disposals, blinds and locks as needed.
• Replace furnace filters and clean HVAC vents and related systems.
• Assist maintenance team with tasks requiring multiple people.
• Meet with vendors on-site to verify access and progress.
