Job summary

Willow Bridge Property Company in Wilson, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service our apartment communities. You will troubleshoot and repair plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical systems, and install appliances as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills. This role may require on-call duties and a valid driver's license; OSHA compliance and safety are a priority.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair knowledge for HVAC systems; HVAC certification preferred.
• EPA Type I & II certifications preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• On-call availability for after-hours emergencies.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Role may require a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair apartment community systems including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical; install new appliances as needed.
• Complete resident service orders in a timely manner.
• Assist in maintaining exterior property to preserve curb appeal.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and health, safety and environmental laws.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
