Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; HVAC certification required.
• Prior maintenance experience in residential or commercial settings preferred.
• Basic technical skills to perform well-defined tasks; ability to read, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy within 72 hours.
• Respond promptly to emergency repairs to minimize disruptions.
• Diagnose equipment issues to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Maintain safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Perform routine HVAC checks and basic repairs; report major issues.
• Complete basic electrical tasks; report complex issues involving 110–220 volt systems.
• Address minor plumbing issues and maintain boiler logs.
• Perform basic carpentry, drywall, and general repairs.
• Conduct ongoing property inspections to identify safety hazards and required actions.
• Perform minor roof and exterior maintenance.
• Assist with pest control tasks in compliance with regulations.
• Monitor maintenance supplies and submit replenishment orders.
• Provide professional service to residents and ensure a clean, safe living environment.
• Complete all required training and follow safety protocols.
