Job summary

Maloney Properties in Framingham, MA, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to support two residential properties. You will join a team of maintenance professionals responsible for in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new residents.

Responsibilities include completing work orders (light electrical, plumbing, carpentry), supervising contractors, and maintaining common areas. Knowledge of Yardi is a plus; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general apartment repair and previous experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work is required.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills are required; experience with Yardi or other work order systems is preferred.
• A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new resident occupancy.
• Completing work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• Providing access to and supervising contractors as needed.
• Performing groundskeeping, snow removal, and maintenance of exterior and common areas.
• Handling special projects and performing custodial duties as needed.
• Keeping the Yardi work order system updated and communicating with the Property Manager, Maintenance Superintendent, and other staff about ongoing projects and work that needs to be done.
