Job summary

NM Residential is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Vale East Student Living in the Orlando area. The role ensures all physical aspects of the property meet company standards and comply with applicable laws, including troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, painting, and drywall.

The position requires a high school diploma, at least 3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and may involve on-call duties

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Licenses/ Certifications: Valid driver’s license required; EPA Universal Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, painting, and drywall issues.
• Respond to and prioritize resident work orders, ensuring timely completion.
• Prepare vacant units and maintain exterior grounds, including pool care and snow removal as applicable.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings and perform on-call duties as scheduled.
