Job summary

1st Lake Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our community safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. You will handle electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, plus prepare apartments for new residents and respond promptly to service requests.

We value hands-on problem solving, reliability, and excellent customer service. A valid driver’s license and basic tools are required; we offer a $750 sign-on bonus and opportunities to grow with the company.

Qualifications

Experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
Proficient in plumbing, appliances, and general apartment maintenance.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift, stand, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks.
Reliable transportation and your own basic tools.
Able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot problems and identify repair solutions.
Perform routine maintenance for residents (electrical, plumbing, appliances).
Prepare vacant apartments for move-ins.
Keep accurate records of maintenance work and service requests.
Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests.
Deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive resident experience.
