About the Role:
We’re hiring a skilled, reliable, and customer-focused Residential Maintenance Technician to join our team at Brookwood and Riviera—two well-established manufactured home communities in Fargo, ND. If you're a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in your work, manages projects with precision, and delivers top-notch customer service, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do:
Complete maintenance requests efficiently and thoroughly—everything from plumbing and electrical to HVAC troubleshooting and carpentry.
Handle unit turns and home rehabs to prepare homes for new residents.
Lead and manage capital projects and community improvements with attention to timelines and budgets.
Maintain the overall appearance and safety of the community—curb appeal matters!
Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
Communicate clearly and courteously with residents, vendors, and property management.
Track materials, labor hours, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
We’re Looking For:
Hands-on experience in general residential or property maintenance.
Project management skills—you know how to scope, schedule, and execute larger tasks (rehabs, setups, repairs).
Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset—you’re approachable, respectful, and calm under pressure.
Highly organized and capable of juggling multiple priorities without missing deadlines.
Budget awareness—you understand cost vs. value and work efficiently with available resources.
Ability to work independently and take direction when needed.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus):
Manufactured housing experience
HVAC certification or strong HVAC knowledge
Plumbing or electrical licensure
Bilingual in English/Spanish
