Job description

About the Role:
We’re looking for a dependable and skilled Residential Maintenance Technician to join our
growing team in Kansas City. This role is essential in supporting the upkeep and appeal of our
community through a mix of unit turns, mild-to-moderate rehabs, and general property
maintenance. If you're a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in your craftsmanship and
thrives in a team-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:
Unit Turns & Rehabs
● Prepare homes for new residents by handling cleaning, painting, flooring, fixture
replacements, and light remodeling
● Tackle rehab work such as drywall patching, cabinet or countertop replacements, and
trim installation
● Deliver work that meets company standards and stays within designated timelines
General Maintenance & Repairs
● Respond to service requests in occupied homes (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC
troubleshooting)
● Conduct preventive maintenance to keep systems running smoothly
● Handle tasks like utility hookups, skirting repairs, and exterior home upkeep
Community Support & Property Care
● Maintain cleanliness and safety in common areas and vacant lots
● Conduct move-in and move-out inspections, documenting any needed repairs
● Support seasonal landscaping and outdoor upkeep

What We’re Looking For:
● At least 2 years of experience in residential or manufactured home maintenance
● Well-rounded skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting
● Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
● A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
● Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
● HVAC certification is a plus
● Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus

What We Offer:
● Top-of-market hourly pay ($26–$32/hour, based on experience)
● Full benefits package – including medical, dental, and vision insurance
● 401(k) with company match
● Generous PTO and paid holidays
● A team-oriented culture where your contributions are valued
● Supportive leadership and room to grow

Why Join Us?
Your work will make a visible impact every day — helping residents feel at home and ensuring
our communities remain places people are proud to live. If you take pride in getting the job done
right and want to be part of a team that shares that mindset, this is the role for you.
