Job summary

ViaQuest in Cincinnati is seeking a Residential Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs across plumbing, carpentry, painting and electrical tasks. The role is full-time and on-site, with paid training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical tasks.
• Change light bulbs, install dispensers, replace filters, lock modifications and minor decorative maintenance.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report; comply with safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Attend training programs as assigned and participate in events as needed.

ViaQuest offers quality, highly-personalized, specialized and cost-effective care, solutions and services through Hospice, Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions, Day & Employment Services, and Residential Services.

Responsibilities may include:

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, electrical repairs or installation.
• Perform task such as but not limited to changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance and other task requiring a licensed skilled trades person or journeyman.
• Identify and correct unsafe working conditions with management oversight.
• Attend training programs as assigned.
• Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
• Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
• Apply OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work as applicable.
• Assist with special events as assigned.

Requirements for this position include:

• Experience in maintenance is preferred.
• Comfortable traveling throughout our service areas.
