Description

We are looking for an ambitious candidate in the Dayton and Cincinnati Areas to fill our Residential Maintenance Technician position. Our candidate must provide exceptional service, quality, and reliability for all areas relating to plumbing, drywall repair, carpentry, and general maintenance. This position addresses deadlines across a multitude of assigned services on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tools, equipment, and vehicles are well‑maintained, and arrange for routine maintenance as needed.
• Plumbing, such as faucet and toilet repairs.
• Drywall repairs.
• Carpentry repairs.
• General residential maintenance.
• Install replacement locks on residential homes.
• Electrical - installation of light fixtures, repair/replacement of switches, and sockets.
• Perform work duties in a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to the following: hot, cold, outdoor, indoor, dry, humid, slippery surfaces, heights, and possibly congested areas.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and time‑management skills.
• Minimum age requirement of 21 years, a valid driver’s license, and an insurable driving record.
• Strong residential maintenance experience.
• Carpentry skills.
• Electrical and plumbing skills.
• Strong property management experience.
• Willingness to work with and assist co‑workers as needed, including evening and weekend hours.
• Ability to continually climb (ladders), balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift heavy objects.
• Possession of the tools necessary to complete repairs and installations.
• Teamwork, excellent communication, interpersonal skills, prioritization, multitasking, initiative, and accountability.

Compensation

$21 - $25/hour
