Job summary

Tarantino-Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Texas. You will respond to service requests, perform repairs, and help prepare vacant units for market readiness.

Candidates should have 1–3 years in apartment maintenance, experience with turns, basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and carpentry. Competitive benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of apartment or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with apartment turns and make-readies.
• Basic plumbing repair skills (toilets, faucets, disposals, drain clogs).
• Basic electrical repair skills (outlets, switches, light fixtures, GFCIs).
• Basic HVAC knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Experience repairing appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, microwaves).
• Skilled in drywall repair, painting, flooring, and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely manner.
• Paint and pick up grounds.
• Painting.
• Resolve maintenance issues in the area of A/C, electrical, sheetrock repairs, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements.
• Cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
