Job summary

TLC Management Co. is seeking an experienced Residential Maintenance Technician for our St Charles, IL property. The role focuses on maintaining apartment homes, common areas, and grounds with emphasis on safety and efficiency, supporting the Service Manager by managing expenses and preventative maintenance.

Earn $18 to $28 per hour, plus the opportunity to earn commissions and quarterly bonuses. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, holidays, and ongoing education

Qualifications

• Three years minimum of maintenance experience in a fast-paced residential community.
• Experience in painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies 24/7, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily property walks to ensure cleanliness and address safety concerns.
• Complete unit turns per property checklist within established deadlines.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
• Assist Community Manager and Service Manager as needed.
