Job summary

STYL Residential is seeking a Service Technician II to join our team at Platinum Shavano Oaks in San Antonio, TX. The role covers day-to-day maintenance, move-in/move-out repairs, and ensuring high resident satisfaction through reliable service.

The ideal candidate has experience in residential maintenance, with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repair skills, and is capable of on-call duties as needed. STYL offers growth and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance experience in residential communities.
• Renovation experience is preferred.
• EPA Type I and II certification preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Use of general maintenance equipment including hand tools, ladders, refrigerant recovery units, landscaping equipment and required safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, monitors and performs preventative maintenance.
• Ensure that service requests are completed promptly and professionally.
• Diagnose problems and repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, swimming pool, carpentry, dry wall and appliances.
• Maintain the premises of the building, office and grounds in clean and orderly condition.
• Monitor and perform make ready duties on vacant units; ensure residential units have been turned in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents.
• Promptly communicates with maintenance leadership concerning all maintenance issues at the property.
• Manage dumpster corrals, trash enclosures/compactors as needed or directed.
• Provide on-call service when scheduled and perform emergency maintenance work when required.
• Assist the Supervisor with monitoring inventory of parts and supplies.
• Assist the Supervisor with scheduling and communicating with vendors and contractors.
• Use mobile device to dispatch and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to the company's safety and hazard communications programs, policies and procedures.
• Inspect buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness and alerts the Maintenance Supervisor to items that need to be repaired.
• Participates in company-provided training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, EPA, and harassment prevention.
• Perform other tasks or duties as directed and assigned.
